Wat Chumpon Kiri is situated in Tambon Mae Sot Municipality. The temple is 200 year-old and there is a pagoda built by the influence of Myanmar’s Chwaedagong.The temple’s ordination hall houses a Buddha image while the other hall houses a 200year old ancient drum.

Wat Thai Wattanaram is located at Moo 1 Tambon, Ta Sai Luad, 500 metres before the Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge at Km. 84 on the right. This temple is burmese styled, with its wood carving sala adorned with precious stones. It houses a reclining Buddha image, marble Buddha image and beautiful pink ordination hall.

Hin Kew Holy Buddha Relic is located at Ban Wang Ta Kian on a gigantic rock which seems to be falling off the cliff. It is considered an amazing work and is called by the local people “Indra’s hanging rock”. On the rock is a Mon styled pagoda whichis worshipped by residents of Tak and its vicinities. The Hin Kew Holy Buddha Relic festival is held every year in February.

Thai-Myanmar Friedship Bridge is located at Tambon Tha Sai Luad, Amphoe Mae Sod which is opposite to Meaowaddy in Myanmar. It crosses the Moei River and connects the Asian Highway between Thailand and Myanmar as well as other regions, south Asia, Middle East and Europe. It opens during 8.30-16.30 hrs. The Border Pass can be obtained at Mae Moei City and Amphoe Mae Sod Municipal. The fee for Thailand cost 20 baht and for Myanmar costs 10 baht.
